Drone Lead Tracker

An in-progress personal CRM exploring how business discovery, mapping, AI research, and follow-up can work together.

My role
Personal product project — strategy, UX/UI design, full-stack development, API integration, and workflow testing
Built with
Next.js · TypeScript · SQLite · Google Places · Mapbox · OpenAI API
Drone Lead Tracker business search screen with search controls, AI help, and an interactive map.
01

The problem

Finding local prospects, deciding what to offer them, and keeping follow-up organized required too many disconnected searches and spreadsheets. Radius searches also had to be trustworthy instead of merely influenced by a provider bias.

02

My approach

I built a working CRM that combines lead records, Google business discovery, an interactive Mapbox view, one-click importing, and focused AI recommendations. Provider results are independently checked with a haversine distance calculation so the chosen radius remains strict.

Tested so far.
Still in progress.

These numbers describe the current local prototype and do not imply that the product is finished or production-ready.

0

Out-of-radius results in verified radius tests

0.7 mi

Farthest result returned in the 1-mile test

24.9 mi

Farthest result returned in the 25-mile test

The details that make
the workflow useful.

01

Strict-radius search

Business discovery uses provider restriction plus an independent distance check.

02

One-click lead import

Useful business context is normalized directly into the existing lead pipeline.

03

Interactive prospect map

Search results appear as stable Mapbox pins alongside the working list view.

04

Focused AI assistance

Embedded actions suggest relevant offers and likely pain points for each prospect.

A working prototype,
not a finished product.

The current local prototype supports business search, lead creation, filtering, editing, and deletion. Radius checks returned no out-of-range businesses in both the 1-mile and 25-mile test cases, while the map and AI actions stayed inside the same prospecting flow.

Current boundary: This personal project is still in active development. Durable hosted storage, deployment, and production hardening remain before it should be presented as a finished CRM.
